Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) will host its second annual Runway to Opportunities event, aimed at connecting prime contractors with businesses interested in participating in airport construction projects. The event is part of the Journey With AUS airport expansion program and seeks to help subcontractors understand how to engage with large-scale construction initiatives at the airport.

Runway to Opportunities is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA), located at 3100 Alvin Devane Blvd, Building B, Austin, TX 78741. Prime contractors attending include Austin Commercial, Hensel Phelps, JE Dunn, and Sundt / Archer Western.

Attendees will hear presentations from firms currently working on major airport projects and receive updates on ongoing and upcoming construction activity. The event also offers guidance on conducting business with both the City of Austin and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. There will be structured and informal networking opportunities for subcontractors to ask questions and explore collaboration possibilities.
