The City of Austin will hold its annual Community Connections Resource Fair on November 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Eastside Early College High School. The event is free and aims to bring together more than 100 service providers, including city departments, non-profits, and local organizations.

This fair is intended to help residents access resources related to food, healthcare, and other support services. It also offers information about the City of Austin’s Customer Assistance Program, which helps people find ways to lower their utility bills.

Austin City Manager T.C. Broadnax said, “The Community Connections Resource Fair highlights the wide range of City services and local support available throughout Austin. With winter approaching, we encourage residents to explore opportunities to reduce utility costs and connect with programs designed to enhance their everyday lives.”

Residents who wish to attend can get free Cap Metro bus passes for the day of the event either in person at City of Austin Utility Customer Service Centers or online at AustinEnergy.com/CommunityConnections.
