Effective November 16, 2025, the Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending will implement changes to its licensing requirements for military service members, veterans, and spouses. These amendments apply to Section 55.110 of Title 7 in the Texas Administrative Code.

The new rules are scheduled to be published on the Texas Secretary of State website starting from November 16. Additionally, details about the adopted rule can be found in the Texas Register notice dated November 7, 2025.
