Governor Abbott appoints Clint Davis as judge for Henderson County district court

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Clinton “Clint” Davis as Judge of the 173rd Judicial District Court in Henderson County. The appointment will last until December 31, 2026, or until a successor is elected and qualified.

Davis currently serves as the county attorney for Henderson County. He is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the State Bar of Texas, the Federalist Society, and the Henderson County Bar Association. In addition to his legal work, Davis holds leadership roles in community organizations. He is a board member and vice president of Family Circle of Care, serves as board president of the Family Peace Project, Inc., and is a member of Kiwanis International.

Davis earned his Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Tyler and his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston.
