Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Alicia Cantrell to the Family Practice Residency Advisory Committee. Her new term will last until August 29, 2028. The committee is responsible for reviewing applications related to the approval and funding of family practice residency training programs and support initiatives for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

Alicia Cantrell, who lives in Houston, serves as chief operating officer of the Coalition Por For Texas. She studied at the University of Houston – Downtown.
