Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Gwen Griffin to the Texas Space Commission Board of Directors. Her new term will last until February 1, 2031.

Griffin is the chief executive officer of Griffin Communications Group, a firm that has operated for 30 years and focuses on strategic communications and marketing in the aerospace and technology sectors. She serves on the Board of Directors at Space Center Houston, is a trustee with the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, and participates on the College of Sciences Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Griffin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from UCF.
