Governor Greg Abbott highlighted the role of TPUSA Club America chapters in Texas high schools, calling for increased enrollment and participation. At an event attended by Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, TPUSA Senior Director Josh Thifault, Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath, and other officials, Abbott spoke about the organization’s impact.
“There has been no moment in time during the course of this century when there was such an urgency and a need for an organization like TPUSA and Club America,” said Governor Abbott. “They have helped to restore moral clarity, constitutional principles, and our founding values. I am grateful for the young men and women behind me and their peers across the state for stepping up and identifying themselves as the future leaders of the Lone Star State.”
Abbott also acknowledged Charlie Kirk’s contributions to strengthening conservative youth engagement nationwide. He noted that Texas leads all states in the number of Club America chapters and pledged continued support for their growth within Texas schools.
The governor stated that any school impeding a Club America program should be reported to the Texas Education Agency (TEA), which would open an investigation and take disciplinary action if necessary.
Additional photos from the event are expected to be released later.
