Today marks Giving Tuesday, an annual event that encourages people around the world to support charitable organizations and give back to their communities. Following the shopping events of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, many individuals use this day to contribute to causes they care about.

Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines, a charity supported by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), has launched its Holidays of Hope fundraiser in conjunction with Giving Tuesday. The organization is seeking donations to help fund its programs.

According to the group, contributions made today will assist military veterans with PTSD, individuals who are blind or visually impaired, and children with autism. These donations aim to provide recipients with service dogs that offer confidence, companionship, and support.

“Each donation you make today will directly benefit a military veteran with PTSD, a person who is blind or visually impaired, or a child with autism who needs the life-changing confidence, love, and hope that a service dog provides,” stated Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines.

Supporters are encouraged to participate in the fundraiser as part of their Giving Tuesday activities.
