IAM District 837 and Boeing Defense will resume negotiations on Monday, according to a statement released by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) District 837. The talks will take place with the assistance of a federal mediator as both parties seek to resolve an ongoing strike.

“The bargaining committees for Boeing and IAM 837 have agreed to return to negotiations on Monday with the help of a federal mediator in an effort to find a path to end the strike,” said IAM District 837 in its statement.

The IAM represents about 600,000 active and retired members working in various sectors including aerospace, defense, airlines, shipbuilding, rail, transit, healthcare, automotive, and other industries throughout North America.
