The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has announced continued support for its members and their families during the holiday season. The union emphasized that this time of year can be challenging for many individuals.
IAM reminded members about the availability of two separate Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), both offering confidential, 24/7 support. These programs are designed to help members address personal or work-related issues.
Additionally, IAM highlighted national resources available to everyone. The National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline can be reached by dialing 988, texting 988, or visiting 988lifeline.org. In life-threatening situations, individuals are advised to call 911.
IAM stated: “As we move through the holiday season, we wish every member and their families a happy holidays. We support you, your family, and your loved ones through what can be a challenging time.”
