IAM leaders visit Wisconsin plants to recognize union skills at Mercury Marine and John Deere

IAM Union leaders recently visited manufacturing facilities in Wisconsin, meeting with members of Local 1947 at Mercury Marine and Local 873 at John Deere. The delegation included International President Brian Bryant, Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett, and Chief of Staff Vinny Addeo.

Local officials organized tours for the union leadership and staff. Bryant commented on the visits, saying he was impressed by the quality and skill shown by union members in producing Mercury Outboard engines and John Deere equipment.

IAM Union members from Mercury Marine highlighted their expertise in machining, pouring, and grinding processes. They also emphasized their pride in making American products.
