IAM retirees recently gathered at the IAM Retirees Conference to discuss their experiences and offer guidance to current members. The event featured reflections from retired members who spoke about their years of involvement in the organization and the principles that guided them.

Retirees emphasized the importance of continued participation within the union. Their message was direct: “get involved, stay engaged, and keep organizing.” They highlighted that their work for dignity, fairness, and strong contracts continues even after retirement.

The conference served as a platform for sharing lessons learned over decades of union activity. Retired members encouraged active engagement from current IAM members to sustain the values and achievements built by previous generations.
