Ivy Geilker has been named Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, following an appointment by International President Brian Bryant. The role is under the leadership of IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett and takes effect on September 1, 2025.

Geilker began her tenure with IAM Healthcare as an Associate Organizer, where she led several successful organizing campaigns. These efforts resulted in new members joining The Pharmacy Guild/IAM from companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy. The new members include pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff working at these large corporations.

Prior to joining the IAM Healthcare staff in February 2024, Geilker worked as Senior Lead Organizer with the Colorado State Employees’ Union. In that position, she managed a team representing workers across different settings like state hospitals, public health departments, and university campuses.

“Ivy’s success in organizing pharmacists and technicians at major corporations has contributed to the IAM’s impressive growth in the healthcare industry,” said IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett. “Her tireless work to build The Pharmacy Guild/IAM has given a voice to hardworking professionals who provide care to our families and communities.”
