District 77 members in Minnesota have supported the Unity One Credit Union’s annual Toys for Tots drive this holiday season. Locals 737 and 459 approved funding motions that contributed significantly to this year’s toy donations, which totaled over $1,600 worth of toys for families in need.

Members from both locals actively participated by purchasing toys and delivering a truckload to the drive. The contributions are aimed at helping children in the local community during the holidays.

“IAM District 77 and its locals came together to make a difference for families during the holidays,” said IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli. “Their effort speaks volumes about who we are as a union. I’m proud of the work our members continue to do in their communities.”

“Supporting Toys for Tots reflects the spirit of solidarity our members show all year,” said IAM Local 737 President Eric Jorgensen. “Locals 737 and 459 didn’t just contribute funds, they put in the time, energy, and heart to make sure kids in our community feel the joy of the season. I’m proud of the generosity our members continue to demonstrate.”

The tradition of giving back continues to be an important part of District 77’s activities, especially during the holiday season.
