Oak Haven Massage has opened a new studio at 900 South First St., Suite 150, in Austin. The facility, which began operations on December 15, 2025, spans 6,350 square feet and marks the company’s third location in Austin and sixth overall.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring Oak Haven Massage to Austin’s South First Street community,” said CEO Allison Moreno. “This neighborhood has such a vibrant energy, and we’re honored to offer a space where people can slow down, reset and experience truly therapeutic care. Our team is eager to welcome new faces and help more Austinites feel and live better.”

The new studio offers the same range of massage services as other Oak Haven locations, including deep tissue, therapeutic, and lymphatic drainage massages. A monthly membership provides clients with a discounted 50-minute massage. The company emphasizes accessibility by offering same-day appointments with flexible scheduling. Therapists at Oak Haven receive ongoing advanced training focused on chronic pain patterns to improve care for clients with persistent conditions.

All Oak Haven Massage studios are open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. More information about services and booking is available at oakhavenmassage.com.

Oak Haven Massage was founded in 2005 by Dr. Steven Shuel after his retirement from chiropractic practice in Santa Paula, California. Inspired by an experience with massage therapy after moving to San Antonio with his family, Dr. Shuel launched the business in November 2005 to focus on therapeutic bodywork rather than traditional spa services. Since then, Oak Haven has completed over two million sessions and employs more than 300 licensed therapists.

The opening of businesses like Oak Haven Massage contributes to the local economy alongside organizations such as the Austin Chamber of Commerce, which supports regional economic growth through collaboration and advocacy efforts (https://www.austinchamber.com/). The Chamber promotes partnerships that benefit both businesses and communities within the Austin area (https://www.austinchamber.com/).
