Guinn and Betsy Crousen’s mansion in Highland Park, Dallas, has become the most expensive residential sale in Texas for 2025 so far. The property, located at 4000 Euclid Avenue, was sold on Wednesday according to public records. Guinn Crousen is the president of Progressive Incorporated, an aerospace manufacturing company based in Arlington.
The buyer of the home is a trust, with Genna Skolnik of Compass Real Estate listed as the trustee and buyer’s agent. The final sale price has not been disclosed. However, data from the Houston Association of Realtors indicates that this transaction is currently the priciest residential sale in Texas this year.
The home was originally listed for $32.5 million in February and quickly topped the list of luxury homes for sale in Texas compiled by HAR using information from major Multiple Listing Services across the state. Other high-profile listings that have yet to sell include the Crespi Estate in Dallas at $64 million, the Lodge at Hunters Creek in Houston at $60 million, and a University Park mansion formerly owned by Joshua Pack, asking $35 million.
The Highland Park property sits on more than an acre and features six bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. According to listing agent Jason Garcia of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Real Estate, it occupies one of the largest lots in Highland Park. The house was built in 2015 by architect Robbie Fusch and includes imported limestone floors, a corniced fireplace, bronze hardware from France, and a basilica-style dome covered with 24-carat gold leaf over its grand foyer. Roman pillars support an arcade around the courtyard that features a fish pond fountain, swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, and loggia. With nearly 19,000 square feet of living space, its original asking price equated to about $1,700 per square foot.
Robbie Fusch also designed another notable Dallas property—a mansion on Strait Lane modeled after the White House for investor Toby Neugebauer—which was previously listed as the city’s most expensive home but left the market unsold earlier this year.
Among other significant sales statewide this year is a waterfront compound on Westlake Drive with an undisclosed price above $20 million.
