Individuals seeking to manage their real estate or appraiser licenses in Texas will need to set up an account on the Real Estate and Appraiser License Management Portal (REALM Portal). The portal is required for activities such as managing licenses, applying for new licensure, or submitting complaints.
A video has been made available that provides step-by-step instructions on how to create a REALM Portal account. According to the announcement, license holders will receive an activation email with details necessary for setting up their accounts. Those who hold multiple licenses, registrations, or applications may get more than one email. Each email contains a State ID or PIN Number, which must be used to link records under a single REALM Portal account.
“License holders will receive an activation email with important information on setting up your accounts. If you have multiple licenses, registrations, or applications, you may receive multiple emails. You will need to refer to the State ID(s) or PIN Number(s) in each email to successfully connect your records to one REALM Portal account.”
The portal aims to streamline processes related to real estate and appraiser licensing within Texas.
