The Texas Real Estate Commission has opened the application process for two of its committees for service in 2026. Interested individuals can submit their applications until August 22, 2025. Appointments to these committees will be announced during the November TREC Meeting.

The Texas Real Estate Inspector Committee is looking to fill two inspector seats and two public member seats. The committee plays a role in shaping regulations and standards for real estate inspectors across the state.

Additionally, the Education Standards Advisory Committee is seeking applicants for several positions: two instructor or owner roles, three real estate license holder positions, and one public member seat. This committee contributes to setting educational standards for those entering or working within the Texas real estate industry.

Both committees offer opportunities for professionals and members of the public to participate in decision-making processes that affect real estate practices statewide.
